Handpainted Beach sign with molded clay accents.

After moving from the midwest to the beach, I decided our house needed some beach themed accents. Signs and buoys are everywhere here. But I could not find the right one. When I cannot find what want I make it.

To create a quick home decor piece you will need a wood plaque, alphabet stencils, Earth Safe Finishes paint, Makin’s Airdry clay, shell molds paint brush and paper towels.
Directions: Paint the sign with a base color. Sand the edges. Repeat if needed. Stencil on the letters. Sand lightly to create a lightly distressed look. Press clay into molds and let air dry. Coat with paint and wipe most of the paint off to create a worn look. Adhere shells and hang.
