Hi there! I am excited to be asked to contribute to 365 Days of Crafts! I am the newest member of the team, Keri Lee Sereika. I do tons of different crafts and right now I am really into jewelry making. I have found a love for texture and textile additions to my jewelry as of late and have had fun experimenting with lots of different mediums.
Anywho! I thought I would take a few moments to share with you a delicious jewelry set that I made for my dear friend Ann for Christmas. I named it Cocoa Luxury…the delightful colors are simply scrumptious…I used lots of Swarovski Pearls and Cystals, Mother of Pearl Disks and Antique Finished Brass and again, pulled out my Recycled Sari Ribbon from Mudhound Studio on Etsy ( my new fave shopping haunt)!! Lisa is a doll to work with and has some REALLY awesome offerings if you are into adding a bit of textile texture to your work. Check out her blog to see how she uses her goods and then tell me you were not totally inspired!!!
Here’s my set that I created using basic jewelry techniques and a few fun inspired textile techniques. I hope you enjoy. 🙂 Do you make jewelry? If so, leave us a link so we can check out your stuff!
