Beautiful Baby – A simple scrapbook page layout idea
This simple but elegant scrapbook page layout can be easily recreated to capture your favorite photo. Nothing is more precious than capturing the everyday moments when your child is small. Each day is new and exciting. This simple scrapbook layout uses solid color papers that are sanded to created texture and color coordinating floral embellishments.
This simple moment is captured in the movement and the playfulness of Duetica DT Floot font. The font has so many alternates for each letter that you can really get the bouncing baby feeling. The font is printed from a home printer. The use of solid lightly distressed paper highlights the sentiment of the title and makes the dress really stand out.

Duetica Font: DT Floot font

miscellaneous paper flower embellishments
Instruction for a simple scrapbook layout:
- Sand the paper in random areas to create a soft worn feel. Use the Dust Buddy to remove the dust created from sanding the paper.
- Trim the paper to sizes that work best for your images. The navy paper is 12×12, peach paper is 9×9 and the orange paper is 6×6. You do not have to make them the exact same size as I did. You can use your best judgement.
- Tape the peach paper down, then the orange paper and finally the photo.
- Place the fancy pearl strips as shown on the picture.
- Use glue or tape to adhere the flowers in layers and then adhere them on the paper.
- Go to the Duetica website and pick your font and print it. Then cut it to size and adhere.
