Cricut end of school year thank you gift ideas. The end of the school year is almost here! If you are anything like me you are super excited yet stressed at the same time. There are so many people to thank for helping my kids throughout the year. Teachers, Aides, coaches, bus drivers, school garden volunteers etc.
When I saw this project by Jen Goode I knew it would be perfect to put on the cover of binders. It is fast, can be done on a budget and it is heartfelt. I think a binder is a great idea because they are always being used and I personally dont like buying them. But if someone gave me one I would love it. My second idea for this design was on a book tote. I think I will make the totes for my sons teachers.
Supplies needed for end of school year thank you gift:
File in the Cricut Design Center – It Takes a Big Heart Cricut Design Space cutting file designed by Jen Goode
- Vinyl sheet in your favorite color or school color
- Binders
Instructions for end of school year thank you gift:
- Decide on the size file you will need in the Cricut Design Space and size accordingly.
- Move the design to a space on the grid that maximizes your vinyl. You could get 4 images out of one sheet. Possibly more depending on the size you need.
- Click cut and let the Cricut do it’s thing.
- When the piece is finished you will need to “weed” the excess design off of the sheet.
- Use the clear pick up sheet to keep all the bits in place and allow you to place the design on the binder exactly where you would like it to be placed.
- Package the binder in a gift bag and you are good to go.
