DIY Valentine’s Day Decorations from the Dollar Store can be quick cool and easy. I purchased a glass hand pump dispenser from the dollar store and I knew immediately what I was going to make. I just opened up some glass paint pen markers and this was the perfect surface to try them out on.
The picture above is the dispenser after it came out of the oven.
The picture below is the soap dispenser before the paint pen was applied.
These are the paint pens I opened. I was going to make red hearts all over it then I decided to go very simple and go with one word only.
I wrote “love” in one fluid line to go across the entire length of the bottom. You let the paint dry for 4 hours then you bake in the oven on 375 degrees F for 40 minutes. If you look at the picture below you will notice there is a pump in the glass container and if you look at the picture on the top you will notice that there is not a pump. Why you ask? Well I placed the piece in the oven and forgot to take the plastic piece out. Mini craft fail on my part. Good thing the container was only a buck! I will head out to purchase a few more of these containers, one for me and a few others to have in my stash. I think they will make great gifts too.
