Create fun acorn placemat for a festive fall tablescape that the family can make together. Craft foam is an inexpensive craft supplies that can be found in the kids craft section and is very easy to cut with scissors. The acorn placemats are perfect for Thanksgiving or the month of November. You can gently wipe off the craft foam but do not use a cleaner with alcohol in it or it can make the marker smudge. This is a fall craft idea the kids will love.

Instructions for acorn placemat:

2. On a covered work surface, use Brown paint to draw diagonal lines on acorn top and around acorn bottom. You can draw a pencil mark to get straight lines. Use Yellow and Orange paint to add details on leaves. Let dry.
3. Adhere the acorn top to the acorn bottom. Adhere the leaves on top of the acorn.
4. For the place cards, paint the wooden alphabet letters Light Hauser Green and let dry. Adhere the alphabet letter (for person’s first first) on center of the acorn. Press the alphabet stickers to spell out the person’s name.
5. Measure and cut the 2″x6″ yellow cardstock rectangle. Fold rectangle in half. To stand, adhere rectangle on back of place card.
