Simple NO-SEW Geometric Ribbon Pillows covers
I must say that these were probably the easiest pillows I have ever made. The pillows were pre-made by Tulip Brand Pillow Covers from www.ilovetocreate.com. I picked up from Michael’s and they were on sale for less than $3 apiece. I adhered them with Aleene’s Fabric Fusion Peel and Stick Tape. It was the exact size of the ribbon from Offray.
Supplies for Geometric Ribbon Pillows:
- Tulip Brand Pillow Covers – grey 16×16 and yellow 16×16
- Aleene’s Fabric Fusion Peel and Stick Tape
- Offray Ribbon – Maize and Grey 5/8″ 2 yards
- Ruler and scissors (iron optional but recommended)
- Fairfield Processing 16″ pillow Inserts or fill with Polyfil Fiberfill
Instructions Geometric Ribbon Pillows:
- Iron pillow cover
- Measure the amount of ribbon you will need for your design.
- Adhere fabric tape to the ribbon. Trim off the excess tape.
- Use a ruler to measure the placement of the ribbons.
- Repeat the measuring for each pillow and pattern you would like.
- Fold the ribbon under to make hidden pleat. I didn’t do it on the first corner and went back fixed it.
- For the yellow and grey pillow I simply used the ruler to add stripes. I should have gotten all fancy and made them woven. Add the pillow inserts into the pillows or fill with Polyfil Fiberfill Next pillow.
- The grey and yellow pillow by itself.
I hope you have enjoyed the super easy no sew geometric ribbon pillow covers using Offray 5/8″ grosgrain ribbons.
