The latest issue of GreenCraft Magazine is out! I love how they describe the magazine – “GreenCraft Magazine is your companion to a world of recycled wonders. Transform everyday trash into heirloom-quality treasures with the inspiration inside every issue.” It really is the perfect description and Melony Bradley, one of our main contributor has several projects inside. If you would like a sneak of what is inside then check out the image below.
Her work never ceases to amaze me. I love how she can take the simplest of items from the recycling bin and turn it into something special. Who would have thought that a pickle jar could be so cute and adorable? Her use of bright happy colors is always a welcome sight.
To order your own copy of GreenCraft or a subscription to GreenCraft. That is an affiliate link where I earn a commission. The magazine can be found in major craft stores and book sellers.
In elementary school we were green crafters and did not know it. You can’t get more natural than leave prints, twig art, bottle cap murals and magazine collages. As an adult, when you think of crafting green what supplies come to mind? I’m sure it is not macaroni or cheerio necklaces… well I hope it is not. But if you do amazing work with noodles then I would love to share it here.
If you are not into using recycled pieces in your art, please take the time to recycle when you can and where you can. Every bit helps our planet. If you are interested in making small changes to live a greener style, try to minimize purchases to only replace things you are using and that no longer serve a purpose. Take the time to go through your clothes and see which pieces can be donated or which pieces would be better cut into fabric scraps. One of my favorite things to save is old sheets for fabric dying.
