Harry Potter butterbeer cookies in a MACUSA logo gift tin – a fun craft idea for lovers of Fantastic Beasts These cookies were inspired by the Butterbeer drink in the Harry Potter books and movies and have big butterbeer flavor in every bite.
The cool gift tin is very easy to make and quite budget friendly too. Use a recycled tin and a little spray paint.
MACUSA is the -The Magical Congress of the United States of America (shortened MACUSA ) is the magical body in charge. They are the feature storyline in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Most Harry Potter lovers will know this and think this is really cool.

Instructions for the butterbeer cookie MACUSA tin:
- Print MACUSA logo to fit your recycled tin
- Spray paint recycled gift tin with gold paint and let dry.
- Cut out logo and adhere to the cookie tin.
Ingredients for Harry Potter butterbeer cookies:
- 1 c butter or margarine, softened
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 (5.1) box butterscotch pudding
- 2 3/4 c flour
- 1 c butterscotch chips
Instructions for Harry Potter butterbeer cookies:
- Preheat the oven to 375° F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In your stand mixer fixed with the paddle attachment, combine butter or margarine and both sugars; add eggs and vanilla.

Beat the butter and sugar for 2 minutes with mixer on medium. Add in egg, vanilla extract.

Whisk salt, baking soda, and pudding together in a separate bowl. Add to the wet mixture then slowly add flour.

Mix until combined, scraping the sides of bowl as needed. Add in butterscotch chips and stir in with a spoon.

Use a medium-sized cookie scoop to scoop cookies onto the prepared baking sheet and place 2 inches apart.

Cover and place in the fridge for 15-20 minutes to chill.

Bake for 10-13 minutes.
Instructions for Harry Potter butterbeer cookies icing:
Mix 1 cup sifted powdered sugar with1 to 1 1/4 tablespoon vanilla flavored creamer. Drizzle the icing over the cookies. Allow to harden before stacking in the MACUSA tin.

What is the cooking time on the cookies? I didn’t see it in the recipe and I can’t find the link to print the recipe.
