A thoughtful gift does not have to be expensive – just make it tasty!
We had a huge crop of strawberries this year. Not only did I make Strawberry jam, but, I made Super Strawberry Syrup. I wanted a guick and easy way to make it look pretty. That is when I came up with this idea using the Duetica Font site. It is an awesome site. I will admit that when I first started working with the fonts I did not fully appreciate what all you can do with the variety of fonts they have. Now that I have explored it more I cannot wait to do more. Soon I will have more samples of how it works. Well, enough about that. Back to the quick and easy labels. I used a Marvy Uchida scallop punch, snipped the scallops and gave them a little curl for dimension. Then I inked the edges with Clearsnap Chalk Ink in Lipstick Red. Add a little jute cording and voila`. A very tasty, yet quick and easy homemade gift from the kitchen.
