Making a scrapbook page sometimes happens very quickly while other times you need a tiny bit of inspiration. The ideas for making this page happened when I found the striped paper in the paper pack. It was the same shade of pink as the strawberry ice cream.
The farm by our house has pick your own berries and they also make ice cream. Their specialty is Strawberry. The strawberry season is over but the moment was captured in this scrapbook layout . Baby Gigi loved her very first bite of ice cream and you can see the delight in her eyes. The title of the page uses the Duetica DT Floot font. I love creating with this font. There are so many alternates for each letter. Notice how all the different “S’s” add some strawberry sass to this page, and best of all, I can say it with my own words (instead of someone else’s when using word art or stamps).
To add to the whimsey of this page I used Sizzix Fresh Vintage 3D Finged Flower by Eileen Hull. If you want to see more inspiration using this die you should check out her blog by clicking on her name. To give the page a little shimmer I added some Prima Crystals.
