Make Realistic Paper Flowers with Embossing Tools

Making realistic flowers can be easy if you have the right tools.  I was shown how to do this technique by Sue Eldred and thought it was the most fantastic thing since sliced bread.  I used Sizzix leaves and Tim Holtz Tattered Florals, Walnut Hollow Embossing tools, Flower Soft for the centers and Smooch Spritz for the wonderful shimmery effect.

I made these for  myself after I made a very large bouquet for an article in Crafts N Things Magazine.  That project is shown below.

There are so many ways you could use this technique.  For Crafts N Things I paired them with vintage sheet music to create a romantic yet nostalgic feeling.
