Our first “New Friend” is Becky Conley. To help us get to know the crafter better I sent 20 questions for them to answer. No they did not have to answer all twenty. Just a few so we might find what interests them and drives them to create. I must say that I am the one who came up with the questions and like me they might be a little wacky.
Q. If you could speak to one type of animal, what would it be?
A. My cat, we communicate well, but sometimes when she’s just weird, I want to ask her what the deal is.
Q. Who has made the biggest impact on your life so far, and why?
A. My grandmother was the first person I drew a picture for because of her encouragement.
Q. One interesting fact that our readers might want to know?
A. Look for a new book coming out in September, “Art Uncomplicated”. It will feature elegant home décor, up-cycled art/fashion/decor, Jewelry and party decorations.
Q. Mac or PC?
A. PC, but I want to be MAC
Q. Is Elvis really dead?
A. No, he just went back to his planet.
The last answer is my personal favorite. It is a line from a movie. Do you know which one?
Becky is also working on a new studio, designing new art for her “printables” store– “art with something to say” is the tag line. She uses original art scans with motivational or thought provoking sentiments
and is also busy submitting to magazine calls, creating custom art, running blog give-aways and gearing up for the end of year charitable fundraising events.
