I LOVE Washi Tape. Usually I find myself using it for masking, holding dies in place, etc. It was HIGH time I used it for CRAFTING.
I love a good clean and simple card, aka CAS. When you want to make a bunch of cards, these are super easy and inexpensive. It would be great for all occasions, just swap out the tape!
Supplies you’ll need:
- Neenah Solar White Cardstock – DiscountCardstock.com
- Black Cat – Happy Halloween Collection from Buttons Galore and More
- Washi Tape – DownTownTape.com and K&Company™
- Ink – VersaMagic Cloud White Ink from Imagine Craft/Tsukineko
- Glue Dots
- Other – Martha Stewart Scoring Board for scoring lines, Sponge Daubers for applying ink to button, corner rounder
Instructions:
- Score a set of lines near the bottom of the card and add a strip of Washi Tape.
- Score another set of lines and add another strip of Washi Tape. Score one more set of lines above that strip of Washi Tape.
- Sponge VersaMagic Cloud White Ink onto Black Cat button and adhere to card with Glue Dots.
Really, it’s that easy. Make a bunch for friends and neighbors!
