Who says recycling isn’t a great thing? Upcycle an old lighting fixture by piecing out the crystals and turning them into ornaments. What? You don’t have a spare vintage light fixture lying around? That is okay. This type of crystal can easily be found at flea markets and salvage stores. If you have never been to either one, you really should go. If you want to purchase new crystals you can find them at Hobby Lobby and many other big box craft stores. For this technique try to find flat back crystals. For complete directions check out the December Issue of Crafts N Things Magazine. It is available via subscription on their site or on the newsstand at most big box stores.
